Anaheim Ducks captain Ryan Getzlaf is considered week-to-week with a lower-body injury, the team announced Friday.
Getzlaf sustained the injury during the first period of the Ducks' 5-4 shootout victory over the Los Angeles Kings on Tuesday. The center sat out Anaheim's next game the following night.
Getzlaf, 36, has a team-leading 19 assists to go along with one goal in 23 games this season.
The Ducks' all-time leader in games played (1,124), assists (722) and points (1,002), Getzlaf has spent his entire 17-year career with the franchise. His 280 career goals are fourth most in franchise history.
The 19th overall pick of the 2003 NHL Draft, Getzlaf won a Stanley Cup with the Ducks in 2007 and gold medals with Canada at the Winter Olympics in 2010 and 2014. He has captained Anaheim since 2010-11.
