Another quarter of growth for Thailand

North America News.Net
Monday 23rd November, 2009

Thailand's economy has grown for another straight quarter.

The economy was boosted by a strong recovery in the country's manufacturing sector, allowing the country to grow by 1.3% between July and September from the previous quarter.

The rate of growth was less than economists had predicted.

The National Economic and Social Development Board has said it now expects a boost in the fourth quarter due to improved exports, tourism, consumption and government spending.
